Dear Little Old Count of Music!

I think that after all it would be a good thing if you were to let Kraft play, who, moreover, is an old man.  For it is the first time that the trios will be heard (I mean by a large audience) – Later on you will certainly be able to play them – But I leave it entirely to you to do what you like in this matter.  If you are faced with some difficulties, one of which might perhaps be that Kraft and S[chuppanzigh] do not really get on, well then, let H[err] von Z[meskall] distinguish himself by playing not like a Count of Music, but like a sound musician –

                                                    Your friend
